1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of countrycalling.codes, including its web pages, tools, public API and MCP endpoint (together, the “site”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Information only
The site provides general reference information about international calling codes, dialing formats and phone-number conventions. It is not telecommunications, legal, regulatory or professional advice. Numbering plans change, and calling rules, costs and availability depend on your carrier and destination. Check with your service provider or the relevant national authority before relying on the information for anything important, including emergency calls, billing, routing or compliance.
3. No warranty
We work to keep the information accurate and up to date (see our methodology), but the site, its content, tools and API are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, availability or non-infringement.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of countrycalling.codes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the site, or from reliance on its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
5. Affiliate links and advertising
Some pages contain affiliate links to commercial partners, for example travel eSIM providers. These links are labelled as advertising, and if you make a purchase after following one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The site may also display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense and other partners. Purchases from partners are governed by the partner's own terms. 6. API, tools and acceptable use
The public API and MCP endpoint are offered free of charge on a best-effort basis. Please use them and the rest of the site reasonably: do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass rate limits, or use the site for unlawful purposes. We may limit, change or withdraw any part of the site, including API access, at any time.
7. Third-party content and links
The site links to external sources such as the ITU, national regulators and partner websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party sites. Open-source components are used under their own licences.
8. Intellectual property
Calling codes and numbering-plan facts come from public standards and official sources. The site's original text, design and compilation are protected by copyright. You may quote or reference individual facts with a link back to countrycalling.codes.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
